The two Madison, Wisconsin based financial data companies have joined forces to bring rigorous political transparency to S&P 500 index funds.

 

 

That probably depends on your political perspective--and your personal beliefs. But we looked behind the curtain at the politics of the companies contained in the JUST ETF.  And what we found, well, at this point it was not that surprising....

According to its website, the American Conservative Values ETF (ticker: ACVF) allows you to "align your investments with your conservative values" and to "stop investing in the liberal agenda." The fund trades on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). And...

If you dig down and look at the companies in many of the largest ESG funds, you’ll find that many have been bankrolling Republican politicians and PACs.

One thing that often gets lost in retrospectives about January 6th is the political context outside the executive branch, which ultimately goaded the mob into action.
