Budweiser recently launched a new can for its Bud Light product line featuring trans celebrity Dylan Mulvaney.
The company has been raked over the coals online for the decision, in concert with the trending phrase Go Woke, Go Broke. Conservatives in particular have called for boycotts of Budweiser and Anheuser-Busch, its parent company.
In light of all this, we thought it made sense to take a look at Budweiser’s politics.
The numbers suggest this was just an empty PR campaign intended to appeal to younger, more liberal customers that didn’t quite shake out like the company hoped.
